Below are some of our most common asked questions however we are always only a phone call or email away so please get in touch as we would love to help!

To ensure we continue to operate safely and to ensure the safety of our brides, their families and our stylists we ask you read and adhere to our guidelines below during your visit. Please understand, if you do not follow these policies Bridal Suite reserves the right to cancel your appointment.

// YOUR APPOINTMENT //

  • We offer a private exclusive bridal experience, so we operate as an appointment only boutique with a locked door policy.
  • Please make sure you are on time to your appointment. If you or your party are late no extra time can be allocated.
  • You will be required to use our online ‘Love List’ before your appointment so we know what you would like to try. Visit our website to start ‘hearting’ your favourite gowns – then print your lists!

// GUEST LIMIT //

  • There will be a limit of three (3) guests. We respectfully ask all guests to remain seated throughout the appointment and that our stylists carry all gowns and accessories required by the bride.
  • We have our WiFi codes at the ready for your zoom calls to other family and friends who are unable to attend. Please ask your stylist.

If you or your party feel unwell or are experiencing any of the COVID 19 symptoms we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment prior to attending.

What happens during my appointment?

At Bridal Suite we work on an appointment only basis to ensure you receive the best possible service. Upon arriving at the boutique, you will be welcomed by Alex, Chloe or Jane Mason. As we are family run its important to us that you feel at home from the moment you step inside!

Selecting your dream wedding gown is an experience that should be celebrated; From the moment you walk through our door we do everything we can to make your experience relaxed and enjoyable.

First we invite you to share your vision for both your wedding and your wedding dress. Our Love List is the perfect start!

All of our appointments last an hour so we ask you to use the ‘Love List’ feature on our website. This feature allows you to select 5/6 gowns that you would definitely like to try. Even if this is your first visit, the ‘Love List’ gives us an idea of what you are drawn to, whether it is a strapless gown, a simplistic style or even head to toe glitz! During your appointment if we feel you have missed anything, we will always show you other gowns and it will be your decision if you would like to try them on.

We offer a friendly service with no pressure to buy so any gowns that are favourites during your appointment will be written down for you, so you have all the information to then visit the boutique again if you require.

What should I bring?

Please make sure you wear nude underwear and a strapless bra if you have one. 

Should you find your gown with us, we require a deposit of 50% of the gown price, unless you have found your gown early and then we can arrange a separate payment plan. We will then need to measure your bust, waist and hips and take you though the size guide to make sure you are happy with the size we are ordering. 

Is there parking?

There is plenty of free parking along the residential streets surrounding the boutique. Please be respectful of our neighbours and their driveways.

What should I bring?

Please make sure you bring any lingerie and your exact shoes that you will be wearing on your wedding day. We will not be able to proceed without them.

Your alteration payment will also be due at this stage.

Abroad weddings – if you can make sure you bring a hand luggage case during one of your fittings, we can pack your gown for you.

At Bridal Suite our main priority is to make you feel relaxed and have an enjoyable and memorable appointment to help you find your dream wedding dress! We operate by appointment only so we can ensure you have our full attention and guidance.

If you are feeling nervous or overwhelmed and just want to browse our collection or decide last minute to have a bridal appointment, please give us a call and we can let you know our available times.

We have three bridal rooms, one upstairs and two downstairs. If you, or a member of your party, requires wheelchair access please let us know and we will book you into the relevant rooms.

MADI LANE
A sense of style is synonymous with the Madi Lane bride. It lingers in every fiber and the finest elements that make our Australian-designed wedding dresses unique. With personality and personalisation in mind, each gown offers many customised options in bridal style, fabrication, embellishments, lining, and length, helping you find your perfect wedding dress.

Most of the samples in our shop are a bridal size 14UK, although we stock gowns from a 8UK-28UK.  We understand that it can be difficult to envisage your wedding dress when the sample that you try on doesn’t fit perfectly, but we’ve got all sorts of tricks to help you get a close(r) vision of what you will look like on your wedding day. We’ve got pedestals to stand on to add length, pins to close in fabric, and panels to add fabric.

We also have a selection of plus size gowns – these are all listed on our website in the ‘PLUS SIZE’ section but if you have any questions please get in touch!

Our wedding dresses range from £1000-£2000.

We will always be respectable of your budget, should you have one. Please do make this clear during your appointment and we will do our best to find you a wedding dress that you love! 

Absolutely! We have lots of dress options that can be ordered with a quick turnaround. We also have a fantastic Wedding Dress Sale where a selection of quality gowns have been reduced to purchase straight off the peg!  

We never say its too early to start looking for your dream wedding dress! If you start your search early, it means that you can have a relaxed enjoyable shopping experience. There are also payment plans available to you, so you can spread out the cost of your gown making it more manageable when you are paying for everything else.

Our veils are all made to order and are not sold directly off the rail. This means that they can take 3-4 weeks from order to delivery. We ideally like to get the veils confirmed and ordered on your first fitting, or just before this time, so you are able to take your veil to any hair trials you may have.

Any accessories styled with the wedding dresses can take just as long as the dress to be delivered so it’s always worth confirming orders for belts, detachable sleeves and jackets when you order your gown.

Some of our designers also offer extra lace packages, at an additional cost. These will also need to be ordered at the dress stage too.

To order your wedding dress we will need to take your bust, waist and hip measurements as we order the gown to your nearest size. We will then take you through the specific designer size guide to ensure that you are happy with the size being ordered. We always recommend ordering a gown that fits the size you are now as we can always take a gown in.

We offer a full alteration service and must begin alterations 3 months before the wedding date / flying date (if you are getting married abroad). This means we can really concentrate on getting that fit perfect for you!

Most gowns will need tailoring to you and all gowns can be taken in 1 dress size during your fittings

All fittings must take place on Tuesdays 10-4pm or Fridays 10-3pm – you must book in to reserve your time.

You are under no obligation to use our in-house seamstress service and are free to source your own anywhere you choose.
